Provides advice on methods and recommends changes in project management processes, standards and strategies. Oversees the acquisition, analysis and dissemination of subject matter knowledge. Conducts and reviews detailed analyses of costs/benefits, risks, workflow. In a consultative capacity, provides technical and business knowledge to clients. Develops position statements on complex subject matter questions. Provides resolution of major issues and manages project interdependencies and handoffs. Establishes project plans and manages deadlines. Minimum Job Specs: Bachelors Degree in technology, finance, business or equivalent. MBA, CPA or CFA a plus. At least 10 years of related professional experience - either in financial operations or systems design. Extensive knowledge of business functions. Excellent analytical skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Very strong management, project management and leadership skills. Very strong relationship management skills.

We are looking for a highly motivated senior Project Manager to join SST Markets Financing Solutions Prime Services business. Financing Solutions contains three key business lines – Agency Lending, Secured Financing and Prime Services. Our fast growing Prime Services group is searching for a senior project manager, who would be responsible for driving the execution of a complex global programme supporting the growth of our global Prime Services business.

What you will be responsible for
As a senior Programme Manager you would be responsible for driving key project execution being accountable to the Head of Prime Services for the delivery of a key initiative driving global business growth and will be reporting into the head of International Product Development for the program delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Core Project Management
• Drive project execution and provide challenge to working group members accountable for their deliverables throughout project
• Manage workstreams to define operating model and technology requirements which feeds into different external and internal approvals
• Lead steering committees and other governance forums and provide regular project updates to all stakeholders (including key global strategy committees)
• Produce project management materials including milestones, dependencies and risks
• Create and manage project plans and all other project governance documentation required to ensure the project meets the Change Management Framework minimum standards (regulatory requirement for projects impacting EMEA)
• Liaise with project/program leads across the broader enterprise on related projects and build strong working relationships
Regulatory Framework and Approvals
• Support delivery of regulatory compliance and necessary approvals for product launch
• Facilitate and track delivery of governance and oversight programmes necessary to support the launch of a new business
Education & Preferred Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience in project/program management driving enterprise level, high impact and cross-functional initiatives
• 7-10 years of experience in equity finance/prime brokerage, synthetics or equity derivatives as a senior Project Manager would be desirable
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills being able to manage across different teams, locations and disciplines
• Detail oriented, with the ability to distil and summarise key concepts in writing and present these to a variety of audiences
• Proven experience of managing complex and multi-workstream programs with collaboration across multiple stakeholders to achieve a common goal
• Excellent influencing skills required, including at a senior level across stakeholder groups
• Strong reporting and presentation skills
• Ability to work under pressure and high attention to detail
• Thorough understanding and experience with project management techniques and methods (e.g. Agile, SCRUM)
• Degree level, MBA preferred
Specific Projects Asks
• Support and run the build out of a new Prime Services offering
• Own end-to-end project management for assigned workstreams, including scope management, capacity planning, resource management, delivery timelines and risks/issues/dependencies management
• Actively manage the definition and delivery of target dates and project milestones so that deadlines are understood, met and projects remain on target
• Coordinate cross-project activities working with multiple stakeholder groups, including technology and operations, various business teams,
• Report issues, identify risks and challenges, manage and mitigate delays with project team and stakeholders. Drive issues and risks resolution, decision-making and path to green
• Liaise between internal workstreams and stakeholder groups to drive consensus on project plans, status, and issues/risk tracking
• Communicate project and program status updates to senior management and stakeholders on a regular basis and ad hoc as required
• Connect the dots in terms of workstream interdependencies and oversee relevant work that are outsourced to different divisions of client
